Our unique business structure allows us to offer you the best value possible for a personal chef. We use your food and your kitchen to eliminate our overhead so we can charge you a flat hourly rate instead of selling you food at a 400-500% markup like most personal chefs, restaurants and caterers. Since you are paying only for our time and not buying a product, there is also no tax added to your bill.

So how much is it?

Daytime:

$29 per hour

Nights, weekends and holidays:

$35 per hour

How much is that per week?

With our weekly meal prep service, we've found that the average family requires around 4 to 5 hours of our time to prepare their meals for the week. Since we are professional shoppers, and cook all our dishes from scratch, we've also been able to reduce our Friend's grocery bills. The average grocery bill for the food we prepare for a family of four hovers around $70 per week. Added to 4.5 hours of our time at $29 per hour, that yields a weekly cost of around $200 for a family of four.

With some of our Friends with larger families, we've seen the average per meal cost as low as $5. Of course, the more food we prepare at once the lower the cost per meal. Since our service is completely customizable, the average cost can vary greatly based upon the menu and the volume of food cooked.

How much does a party cost?

We love cooking for parties. The beauty of the cost of a party is that we can create a menu to work with pretty much any budget. The true value of our service is realized when a traditionally "expensive" menu is chosen. We love to show off, but with our service, you don't have to pay extra to have a better meal. Since we charge an hourly rate, the only difference between hosting a party serving meatloaf versus beef tenderloin is the cost of the food.

While some menus do require more time to prepare than others, we've found that we can cook for smaller parties in as few as four hours, while parties for 40 or 50 people may require 10 or 12 hours, depending on the menu. Either way, you get the most bang for your buck, because we are buying your food with your money instead of buying it ourselves and selling it back to you for 4 or 5 times the cost.
